If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for precision and collaboration, this is your opportunity to influence business outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving industry.Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Matrix ManagementImplement and maintain a multi-level pricing matrix tailored to different district needsEnsure all cost updates and adjustments are accurately reflected within the pricing matrixStreamline pricing processes using software and tools to ensure accuracy and consistencyMarket Analysis & Strategy DevelopmentAnalyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor pricing to develop and adjust pricing strategiesRecommend pricing adjustments based on performance metrics and industry shiftsMonitor pricing effectiveness and suggest improvements to optimize profitabilityCross-functional CollaborationPartner with sales and finance teams to review and recommend pricing proposalsSupport district teams with pricing strategies and ensure alignment with overall business objectivesProvide training and support to district staff on pricing tools and best practicesReporting & Performance TrackingPrepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and analysis on pricing performance to senior managementLeverage data insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvementAdditional Responsibilities & MiscellaneousPerform other duties as assigned to support pricing and corporate objectivesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred3+ years of experience in pricing analysis or a related roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trendsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to various stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsProficiency in pricing software and tools, such as Excel or pricing management systemsKnowledge of building material industry or similar market a plusMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, reporting, and data analysisDemonstrated ability to understand the financial and operational drivers of the business and apply that knowledge to make informed pricing decisionsProven track record of making sound and timely decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with competing prioritiesAdaptable to evolving business needs and capable of quickly pivoting strategies to support continuous improvement and organizational growthReports ToRegional Pricing ManagerCompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Base: $26.44 - $36.05 per hourTotal Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $55,000 - $75,000Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants.BenefitsAt FBM, we’re committed to supporting our employees both personally and professionally.
