Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.We are looking for an experienced Arena AV Technical Manager to assist with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repairs of critical building equipment and infrastructure systems. This person should have a background in live broadcast or event audio and video presentation systems, including signal path distribution and routing, equipment set up, and regular maintenance procedures. You will be working on a broad range of events from NHL games and major concert tours to corporate events, specialty activations, and press conferences. This position will report to the Director of AV Systems and Broadcasting Operations and will work closely with the NY Islanders Event Presentation team as well as the UBS Arena Operations team. Experience in arena, stadium, or large venue AV operations is preferred.This role pays an annual salary of $80,000-$90,000Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays)This position will remain open until June 24, 2026.UBS Arena at Belmont Park is made for music and built for hockey. New York's newest premier entertainment and sports venue and home of the New York Islanders is developed in partnership with Oak View Group, the New York Islanders, and Jeff Wilpon. The state of the art arenaopened in November 2021 and has welcomed numerous top artists including Harry Styles, Sebastian Maniscalco, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, TWICE, Eagles, John Mayer, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone. The venue delivers an unmatched live entertainment experience for guests including clear sightlines and premier acoustics.UBS Arena is at the forefront of sustainability, being awarded LEED Green Building Certification in January 2023. The venue also achieved carbon neutrality for operations in Fall 2022 which made it the first arena to do so on the eastern United States seaboard.Serve as technical point person for corporate events, Internal/External client meetings, & ancillary events Arena Video Routing and Production Control Room systemsSet up and testing of event-day AV equipment according to specific needs of that event.Perform regular maintenance tasks on building AV equipment. Including but not limited to SMPTE 2110 Orbit Routing System, Grassvalley Switchers/Multiviewers/Cameras/CCUs, Evertz Dreamcatcher, Ross Xpression, Riedel, Dante Network, etc. Train and assist event-day operators with technical operations of UBS Arena control room equipment. Oversee staffing for corporate events, Internal/External client meetings, & ancillary/specialty events. Assist Director of AV Systems and Broadcasting Operations with technical repairs on all AV Systems.
