Serve as crew leader and oversee the work of lower-level Maintenance Electricians. Review workload and establish priority of Electrician work orders and unscheduled downtime with minimal supervision. While working in a safe, effective manner, keep quality in mind at all times. Work in a cooperative team environment to carry out the preventative maintenance program, repair, modify and overhaul the plant equipment and maintain building as necessary. Perform all other duties or tasks as directed by supervision.ResponsibilitiesInspect the work of all electricians, and participate in the repair, maintenance, inspection and installation of system projects and make sure it conforms to BPC and NEC specificationsInspects equipment, diagnose machinery, and assigns subordinates tasksAnalyze equipment and write preventive maintenance procedures for electriciansPlan and develop work schedules based on equipment usage schedules and create and implement procedures for equipment maintenanceMaintain material records, determine estimates and submit reportsTroubleshoot, identify and repair complex relay systemsDetermine if motor is under or oversizedBe able to configure Probes and Laser SensorsIdentify, troubleshoot and repair PLC communication devicesTroubleshoot and adjust 4-20 mA signalsDetermine excitation of encodersUnderstand internal parameters of a drive, communication with PLC’s and other drivesCross referencing to a new driveHelp train other electriciansInspect and test electrical lighting, signals, communication and power circuitsQualificationsHigh School degree or GED3-5 years of industrial electrical repair experience or any equivalent combinations of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achievedMust be able to distinguish colors to perform essential job dutiesCapable of working in hot environment and in areas where inks and lubricants are usedMust be capable of standing for long periods of timeMust be able to frequently lift and carry 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbsMust have troubleshooting abilitiesMust have good communication skills, both oral and writtenMust have advanced computer and math skillsMust have forklift licenseMust be able to read and comprehend basic EnglishAbility to be flexible to work demands outside of regular work shift#INDQSRWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
