Water Fitness Instructor Certification or another approved nationally accredited organization preferredAmerican Red Cross Certification Water Safety InstructorWillingness to complete Water Park Lifeguarding courseMeet The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Boston skill standards for Swim Instructors.Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages and from varying backgrounds in a positive manner.Must have CPO (certified pool operator) certificationMust be willing to obtain LGTI certification within 90 days of employment (satisfactory completion of this course is required for this position)Principle FunctionsThe Aquatics Coordinator is responsible for the safety of all patrons and the aquatics facility supervises the lifeguard staff, and opens and closes the facility as required. The Aquatics Coordinator will also teach group water fitness, learn to swim and private classes. Maintain, perform maintenance on, and ensure the safety of our Filtration System and Water Park and to ensure the safety of all patronsOther QualificationsBe dependable, professional, alert and able to interact with people of all ages and from varying backgrounds in a positive manner.Must be organized and able to coordinate complex schedules, events, and communications.
