Job Title: Hardware Engineer Job Description Join a dynamic team to design and develop cutting-edge gas detection electronic devices. As a Hardware Engineer, you will utilize your electrical engineering expertise to create and optimize hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration with software and firmware components. Responsibilities + Design and develop hardware for gas detection electronic devices using electrical engineering principles. + Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless connectivity to the hardware. + Perform testing, debugging, and validation of hardware components. + Engage in circuit design, focusing on both digital and analog circuits. + Utilize microcontrollers effectively in hardware development. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware engineering or electrical engineering. + Proficiency in PCB design and hardware design. + Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits. + Experience in PCB layout and hardware testing. + Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Educational experience in hardware engineering or electrical engineering. + Experience with FPGA and microcontrollers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
