Description Finance Manager u2013 Venture Capital Bay Area (Hybrid) Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a top-tier venture capital firm in the Bay Area to hire a Finance Manager. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of fund accounting, finance, and investor relations, with direct exposure to senior leadership and LPs. You will partner closely with the Head of Investor Relations on strategic and ad hoc initiatives, while playing a key role in fund reporting, investor communications, and portfolio insights. Key Responsibilities + Own and review quarterly and annual fund financial reporting + Serve as a key point of contact for LPs, managing communications and responding to investor requests + Prepare fund performance reporting, investment analyses, and quarterly investor materials + Develop investor-facing content including letters, presentations, and marketing materials + Coordinate due diligence processes, including data room management and document delivery + Oversee portfolio data collection and support valuation processes + Drive ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives across finance and IR Requirements + 4+ years of experience, ideally with a foundation in public accounting or VC/PE fund administration + Open to candidates directly from public accounting or fund admin with exposure to venture capital, private equity, or investment management clients + Strong understanding of investment partnership accounting, fund operations, and financial reporting + Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail and data integrity + Experience with AltaReturn, Allvue, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus + Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment + Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with LPs Why This Role + Unique blend of finance + investor relations with direct LP exposure + Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence key initiatives + Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including fully covered medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with profit sharing + Perks include free lunches and a fully stocked office on in-office days + Collaborative, team-oriented culture that emphasizes shared success Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
