Job Title: School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Company: Amergis Educational Staffing Location: Hemet Area (Ku201312 School Sites) Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Contract Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 7.5 hours per day Contract Dates: April 6, 2026 u2013 November 13, 2026 Extension: High likelihood of extending for the full school year Compensation: Starting at $40 per hour, DOE Job Description: Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time, onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based OT services for a district in the Hemet area. The district requires someone who can be onsite daily and support a Ku201312 caseload. This contract runs from April 6, 2026, through November 13, 2026, with a high likelihood of extension to the full school year. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the supervising Occupational Therapist to support studentsu2019 functional, sensory, fine-motor, and access-to-curriculum needs across multiple campuses. Responsibilities: + Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. + Support students with fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-help, and participation needs. + Implement IEP-based treatment plans and therapy activities. + Maintain documentation, progress notes, and data collection per district guidelines. + Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and related service providers. + Assist with maintaining therapy materials, equipment, and organized workspace. + Travel between assigned school sites within the Hemet area. Requirements: + Active California COTA license. + School-based or pediatric experience preferred. + Ability to manage a Ku201312 caseload across multiple school sites. + Must be able to provide full-time, onsite services Mondayu2013Friday. + Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills. + Reliable transportation for daily site travel.
