Job Title: Assembler Job Summary We are seeking an Assembler to join a production team focused on precision assembly work. This role involves operating small equipment, assembling small and medium-sized components, performing detailed measurements, and reading blueprints to ensure accurate builds. Candidates should be comfortable working with delicate parts and performing rework or repairs as needed. Key Responsibilities + Operate small equipment including presses, magnetizing/demagnetizing tools, and scanners. + Assemble small and medium-sized parts with accuracy and attention to detail. + Fit, adjust, and measure parts using indicators, calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Perform repairs and rework on sub-assemblies and major assemblies. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to complete assembly tasks correctly. Essential Skills + Experience with small-parts or mechanical assembly. + Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. + Strong basic math abilities, including reading a ruler. Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience in small-piece assembly. + Ability to work with delicate or sensitive components. + Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Why This Role? Shift Availability + 1st Shift: 5:30 AM u2013 3:00 PM (Monu2013Thu) & 5:30 AM u2013 9:30 AM (Fri) + 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM u2013 12:15 AM (Monu2013Thu) & 3:00 PM u2013 7:00 PM (Fri) + _Additional hours may be required depending on workflow._ Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
