Accountant

Description We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a growing, multi-entity organization. This role will support accounting operations across a portfolio of related entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting principles. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong foundation in core accounting concepts. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain financial records across multiple entities u2022 Prepare and post journal entries, with a clear understanding of financial statement impact u2022 Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness u2022 Record and track intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation and treatment u2022 Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements u2022 Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed u2022 Monitor general ledger activity and ensure appropriate classification of transactions u2022 Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes and maintain consistency in accounting practices This is a permanent position. Requirements u2022 Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and the flow of financial statements. u2022 Familiarity with intercompany accounting practices is highly preferred. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. u2022 Ability to perform month-end close processes, including general ledger updates and reconciliations. u2022 Demonstrated ability to conduct journal entries and bank account reconciliations effectively.
