Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Bonita Springs, Florida. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy in accounting operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately. u2022 Prepare and file 1099 forms in compliance with regulatory requirements. u2022 Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. u2022 Perform job costing analysis to track and manage project expenses effectively. u2022 Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks. u2022 Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation of transactions. u2022 Collaborate with retail teams to support financial operations and reporting needs. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial activities. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and general ledger management. u2022 Familiarity with preparing and processing 1099 forms. u2022 Hands-on experience with automated payroll systems. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial analysis. u2022 Strong understanding of job costing principles and practices. u2022 Background in retail accounting or financial operations is preferred. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
