Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products are packaged and labeled correctly and efficiently for distribution. The role includes packing products, preparing shipments, confirming correct weight, and palletizing products, which may include handling bags up to 50 pounds. You will also perform routine quality checks, maintain production records, assist machine operators with materials, track ingredient usage, and report inventory needs. Shift & Pay 2nd Shift: 5PM-1AM OR 3PM-11:30PM Pay: $20.50/hr Responsibilities + Ensure all products are packaged and labeled correctly for distribution. + Pack products and prepare them for shipment, including confirming correct weight and palletizing. + Perform routine quality checks and maintain accurate production records. + Assist machine operators by providing necessary materials. + Track ingredient usage and report any inventory needs. + Monitor equipment levels and ensure they are maintained. + Package finished products for shipment. Essential Skills + 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing plant. + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Mechanical experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in production, assembly, inventory, picking, packing, loading, and packaging. + Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Some areas may have strong coffee or tea smells, so flexibility is needed to work in all departments. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including steel-toed boots, gloves, hairnets, and glasses. No jewelry, nails, or artificial eyelashes are allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eustis, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
