Intercompany Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Intercompany Accounting Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee global intercompany accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage financial reporting for international subsidiaries and holding entities. This position plays a vital role in monthly closing, consolidations, and enforcing internal controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and manage intercompany accounting processes, including billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations across global entities. u2022 Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany close procedures. u2022 Resolve discrepancies and disputes in intercompany transactions by working closely with corporate and segment accounting teams. u2022 Establish and enforce policies and governance for intercompany accounting activities. u2022 Perform accounting responsibilities for international subsidiaries and holding companies, ensuring compliance with both U.S. and local statutory requirements. u2022 Oversee accounting for dividends, capital contributions, intercompany loans, equity transactions, and restructuring activities. u2022 Collaborate with external advisors and local teams to manage statutory reporting, audits, and filings. u2022 Drive improvements in foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation processes. u2022 Ensure strong internal controls over intercompany and subsidiary accounting workflows. u2022 Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing findings. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in intercompany accounting and financial reporting. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations. u2022 Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statement audits, and regulatory compliance. u2022 CPA certification or equivalent qualification demonstrating attention to detail. u2022 Experience working in or with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable. u2022 Ability to identify and mitigate risks in accounting and operational processes. u2022 Proven track record of driving process improvements and standardization. u2022 Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
