Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to maintain and install electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities + Apply blueprints and technical diagrams to electrical work. + Use various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools. + Install or replace wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices. + Inspect and maintain electrical systems in homes and businesses. + Adhere to state and local building regulations. + Complete work orders on time. + Document work completed and materials used. + Collaborate with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and team members. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in the field as an Electrician. + Must have own set of hand tools. Power tools will be provided. + Exceptional communication and customer service skills. + Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components. + Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems. + Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. + Effective time management. + Strong work ethic. + Understanding of local and national codes, regulations, and safety procedures. + Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
