Description We are looking for an experienced (7+ yrs) Litigation Claims Specialist to REMOTELY join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will provide critical litigation oversight and claims administration across various lines of business, including General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional Liability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in managing complex claims and supporting innovative risk management strategies within the financial services industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage a pending caseload of 90-100 (up to 125) litigated files across multiple lines of business, including General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional Liability. u2022 Promptly and strategically investigate each claim, contacting relevant parties (policyholders, accounts, claimants, law enforcement, witnesses, agents, medical providers, technical experts) to assess liability, damages, and coverage. u2022 Set and maintain accurate reserves for all files under management, regularly reviewing and adjusting as needed. u2022 Present large or complex losses clearly and effectively to the claims team and senior management. u2022 Guide and monitor defense counsel to ensure adherence to litigation guidelines and optimal claim handling. u2022 Deliver excellent customer service to both internal stakeholders and external clients, responding to emails within 24 hours. u2022 Proactively drive claim files toward closure with a consistent plan of action, keeping claim diaries and evaluations current to meet all KPI benchmarks (timely touches, reserve reviews, closure ratios, etc.). Requirements u2022 Proven direct experience (7+ yrs) with managing and handling litigated liability claims across multiple lines of business such as General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional Liability. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent relevant experience. u2022 Prior experience working in a carrier environment is highly desirable. u2022 Proficiency in case management software and litigation tools. u2022 Exceptional communication and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to manage high-exposure claims and complex litigation effectively.
