PC Technician

Description We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves managing and maintaining system environments, ensuring seamless operations, and contributing to infrastructure improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in system administration and messaging technologies, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee daily system administration tasks to ensure the environment operates efficiently. u2022 Collaborate in the design, planning, and configuration of messaging infrastructure technologies. u2022 Provide ongoing support for Windows Server 2016, Exchange, Active Directory, and third-party applications within the Hosted Exchange environment. u2022 Implement new technologies and improvements to enhance infrastructure performance. u2022 Participate in patch management and system upgrades, including pilot testing prior to full deployment. u2022 Resolve technical issues and actively engage in problem management activities to mitigate risks. u2022 Utilize PowerShell scripting for efficient management of Exchange environments. u2022 Manage backups and backup systems related to Exchange servers. u2022 Ensure proper access methods are implemented and functioning, including Outlook Anywhere and other platforms. u2022 Monitor and maintain Linux MTAs, such as Exim, for gateways or antispam functionalities. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange 2010/2016/Exchange Online administration. u2022 Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Exchange management. u2022 Solid understanding of Windows Active Directory and Microsoft clustering technologies. u2022 Ability to manage backup systems and ensure data integrity for Exchange environments. u2022 Familiarity with various access methods, including Outlook Anywhere, and related technologies. u2022 Experience with Microsoft tools such as Graph API, reporting web services, and Exchange web services. u2022 General knowledge of Linux MTAs like Exim for gateway or antispam purposes. u2022 Basic understanding of MySQL database systems.
