CNC Operator II

Job Title: CNC Operator II Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator II for the 2nd shift is Monday - Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM . In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce parts and assemblies while also utilizing manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes. You will position parts using various fastening devices, operate hand-held and power tools, and ensure the precision of completed products. Responsibilities + Operate CNC machines and manual machines like saws, mills, and lathes to produce parts and assemblies. + Position parts in specified locations using fastening devices. + Operate hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools. + Utilize lift equipment as needed. + Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy. + Identify material types and adjust equipment accordingly. + Recognize and replace worn tooling as required. + Verify accuracy of completed products and conduct batch inspections. + Report defective materials, discrepancies, or non-compliant products to the Department Lead. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations. + Complete necessary paperwork, including production sheets. + Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials, and verify machine settings and program parameters. Essential Skills + Proven experience as a CNC Operator with at least 2-3 years in CNC machining. + Proficiency in machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments. + Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus. + Strong understanding of machining principles and tool selection. + Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Solid problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. + Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment. + Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
