Investment Operations Analyst

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is currently seeking an InvestmentOperations Analyst for a contract position with a Major FinancialServices Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 12+ month contractopportunity. Pay Rate: $37.00-$40.00 per hour depending on skill leveland experience. This role focuses on ensuring the accurate and efficientexecution of transactions across all asset classes within public andprivate managed portfolios. The ideal candidate will work with variousinternal and external partners to settle trades, maintain complexinvestment data, and resolve exceptions while contributing to processimprovements. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient executionfor transactions in all asset classes in public and private managedportfolios including domestic, fixed income, common stock, derivatives,foreign, private placements, real estate equity and mortgage loans Workwith bank representatives, brokers, traders and front office to settletrades efficiently Respond to inquiries regarding investment holdingsand activity Maintain investment data for more complex security types invarious systems, conduct reconciliations and work closely with businesspartners Assure timely and accurate investment positions, commitmentupdating and critical attributive investment data Respond to andinvestigate cash receivable and payable exceptions and resolve a widevariety of standard and moderately complex problems Conduct in-depthanalysis regarding investment holdings, trading activity, and otherinvestment initiatives when requested by business partners Train newstaff members and may serve as a technical expert on assignedinvestments and related procedures Stay informed of industry changes anddevelopments that affect processing procedures Assist with developingand implementing business process improvements, new initiatives,procedures, and workflows Participate in system enhancements, projectsand upgrades, and may take a leadership role in certain areas ofexpertise Interpret and analyze legal documents to ensure adherence tocontractual terms and amendments Requirements: Bachelor's degree inbusiness with emphasis in finance, accounting, management, real estateor information systems or equivalent related experience Three or moreyears of related, investment operations experience preferred Knowledge,experience and skill across a variety of investment asset andtransaction types Previous experience with investment operational andaccounting systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Strongproblem-solving skills and analytical ability Ability to work with ateam Attention to detail May work under pressure at times Desiredskills: Ability to juggle multiple demanding tasks simultaneously andwith accuracy Only candidates available and ready to work directly asGenesis10 employees will...
