Description SUMMARY: A summer intern will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the department. RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022The intern will gain a basic understanding of the railroad industry, including industry structure and some competitive dynamics. u2022The intern will also gain an understanding of G&Wu2019s processes, procedures, and systems. u2022Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: u2022Effective oral and written communication skills u2022Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook u2022Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills u2022Strong attention to detail u2022Ability to interact effectively with all levels and continue to maintain a high level of objectivity and independence u2022Self-starter REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS: u2022Currently pursuing a Bacheloru2019s degree u2022Must have a valid driveru2019s license This position is employed by the specific entity set forth in the job posting.
