Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesPosition Purpose:To coordinate the On-time Shipment of Tools by helping to provide the right material, in the right quantities, at the right time from the right source.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Shortage Handling and ReportingExpediting MaterialIncreasing the throughput and efficiency of material flow to the shop floorOn time delivery performance improvementManaging Bottlenecks/ De-bottleneckingConstraints Management in the Tool Building ProcessBalancing the flow of materials through the entire supply chainAssisting in coordinating the priority for hot work orders to be pickedTracking work orders and resolving issues with missing materialsIdentification of gate operations and expediting the operationProactively analyzing the potential show-stoppers and escalating issues to the appropriate level to initiate necessary actions to ease the situationHelping in the Tool Configuration Change HandlingEstablishing a working line of communication and good working relationship with the Planning team, Production Team, Purchasing Team, Warehousing Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control.Providing recommendations to avoid BottlenecksMajor Challenges: Being flexible in accommodating the changes, Timely response to changes, Expedition of Parts, Understanding Customer Requirements, Good Relationship with all the functions within the organization, Good Decision Making Capability, Leadership Skills.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Associates or Bachelors Degree.Knowledge:Materials and ERP knowledge and ability to understand the Customer requirements.
