This role is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, supporting inventory accuracy, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining safe and efficient material flow across a 24/7 operation. The Warehouse Lead works closely with Supervisors, Production, and Maintenance to ensure accurate pallet tracking, proper storage practices, and timely movement of goods throughout the facility.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Provide day‑to‑day leadership to warehouse associates to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations• Ensure adherence to all safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards• Perform work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety policies• Complete required training and certifications, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), as applicable• Oversee daily start‑up and shut‑down of warehouse equipment and processes• Inspect equipment to ensure it is clean and operational• Work with operators and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues• Maintain clear communication with Maintenance and support repair activities as needed• Use PRISM or other systems to track pallets, inventory, and production movement• Support standard changeovers and line efficiencies by coordinating material flow• Plan ahead by communicating with Supervisors on production and warehouse scheduling• Ensure accurate product flow from processing through staging and loading• Provide break relief to associates as required• Assist with training new team members• Review, complete, and submit warehouse and production paperwork• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment using appropriate tools and chemicals• Document completed work per supervisor direction• Perform other duties as assignedWHAT YOU’LL NEED• High school diploma or GED required• Knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, and equipment• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills• Ability to read and understand instructions, paperwork, and basic correspondence• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and use units of measure• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and crawling• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime in a 24/7 operationTHE SCHEDULE & SETTING• Full‑time role on nights• Must be available for weekends and overtime as required• Work is performed in a warehouse environment with routine lifting, pallet handling, and equipment operation• Exposure to varying temperatures, production areas, and material‑handling equipmentPAY & BENEFITSPay Range (Base Pay): $23 per hourOther Compensation: May include shift premiums and overtime pay depending on scheduleHealth and Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, FSA, EAP, and voluntary insurance optionsRetirement Benefits: 401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, sick time, and paid company holidays in accordance with policy and lawsTo apply, click “Apply” and complete the online application.WHY JOIN USGolden State Foods (GSF) is one of the largest diversified suppliers in the food industry, manufacturing a range of products including sauces, dressings, condiments, syrups, and toppings for leading restaurant and retail brands.Join GSF and grow your career with a global food industry leader who:People First: At Golden State Foods, we are a dynamic community where your talents are celebrated and your ambitions are nurtured.Values Driven: Our core values drive everything we do, fostering innovation, integrity, and excellence.People Development: We invest in developing our people to prepare us all for the future.Philanthropy & Sustainability: We support charitable and sustainability initiatives across the globe.Extensive Benefits: We take a holistic approach to wellness, supporting the whole person.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
