Custodian

Performs custodial duties in an indoor setting as assigned by the supervisor.Primary duties and responsibilities unclude but not limited to:Performs assigned tasks at cleaning sites including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing.Assists in moving supplies and equipment as needed.Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties.Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies team leader when the need for replenishment arises.Notifies team leader if equipment is not working properly.Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor.Must have at least six months prior porter cleaning experience or completion of ACCES -VR porter training program. Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given by supervisor. Has some training in use of commercial cleaning equipment. Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing experience required.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Must have a qualified NYS driver’s license.
