Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Inspector Job Description We are looking for skilled individuals with Level II experience in at least two out of three specific NDT disciplines: Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET). While having knowledge in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is an added advantage, candidates must have proficiency in two of the three mentioned disciplines. This role demands thorough documentation and verification of qualifications, ensuring excellence in inspection standards. Responsibilities + Conduct non-destructive testing using Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET) methods. + Ensure all testing procedures are executed in line with Level II qualifications and standards. + Provide verifiable documentation for training and on-the-job training (OJT) hours for each discipline. + Maintain certification records and ensure compliance with Level II requirements. + Collaborate with certified NDT Level III personnel for OJT documentation approval. Essential Skills + Level II qualification in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), requiring 32 hours of formal classroom training and 530 hours of documented OJT. + Level II qualification in Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), requiring 32 hours of formal classroom training and 400 hours of documented OJT. + Level II qualification in Eddy Current Testing (ET), requiring 40 hours of formal classroom training and 1,200 hours of documented OJT. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Possession of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) skills is advantageous. + Ability to obtain and maintain company-specific NDT certification. + Strong documentation and verification skills for training and certification records. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.20/hr.
