Cable Puller u2013 Pflugerville, TX This role supports largeu2011scale cabling projects at local data center sites in the Pflugerville area. The Cable Puller will work as part of a structured cabling team, pulling, routing, and terminating high volumes of fiber as part of an infrastructure upgrade initiative. Key Responsibilities + Pull, route, and install large quantities of fiber cabling throughout data center environments + Replace existing COAX cabling with new fiber infrastructure + Terminate fiber cabling with accuracy and attention to detail + Work with hand tools to complete cabling, routing, and installation tasks + Support cabling projects across multiple data center sites in the local region + Follow site safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas + Work fullu2011time, Monday through Friday (40 hours per week) Required Qualifications + 3u20136+ months of handsu2011on cabling experience (data center or central office preferred) + Experience working with basic hand tools + Familiarity with structured cabling environments + Ability to perform physical labor including pulling cable overhead, underfloor, and through pathways + Reliable transportation to travel between local data center sites as needed Nice to Have + Experience with Cat5/Cat6 + Coaxial cabling experience + Prior data center cabling experience Role Details + Longu2011term contract with potential to convert based on performance + Fullu2011time, steady dayu2011shift schedule + Opportunity to support major fiberu2011upgrade initiatives in enterpriseu2011level data centers Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pflugerville, TX.
