Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join a respected and established Trusts & Estates group in Roseville, California. This role focuses on estate planning, trust administration, and probate for high-net-worth individuals, families, and privately held businesses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wealth preservation and tax planning, with a client-centered approach to legal services. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, and powers of attorney. u2022 Assist in creating advanced planning structures like irrevocable grantor trusts and retained interest trusts under partner supervision. u2022 Manage trust administration and probate matters, including asset distribution and preparation of court filings. u2022 Collaborate with clientsu2019 advisors, such as CPAs and financial planners, to address tax and business succession issues. u2022 Conduct legal research and prepare detailed analyses on estate planning, tax, and property tax matters. u2022 Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients, ensuring they understand all aspects of their estate plans. u2022 Ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements in all matters handled. u2022 Provide high-quality legal counsel while maintaining professionalism and discretion. u2022 Participate in team discussions to develop strategies for complex cases. u2022 Stay updated on changes in estate planning and tax laws to provide informed advice. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership with the State Bar of California. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate, or related tax issues preferred. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines. u2022 Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in all legal documentation. u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal concepts for clients. u2022 Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building trusted relationships. u2022 Strong attention to detail and sound judgment suitable for working with high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses. u2022 Familiarity with tax issues related to estate planning, including estate, gift, and income taxes.
