Civil Design Engineer

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of design experience, preferably in site development, to join our growing team. Youu2019ll have the opportunity to use your experience to play a lead role in civil engineering design, guided by a Project Manager and supported by other team members. Our commitment to training and development will allow you to grow in your career and take on new responsibilities. Responsibilities + Create civil engineering plans and technical specifications. + Develop engineering calculations for stormwater, utilities, and earthwork. + Work with the Project Manager to execute the design, create work plans, and track tasks and deliverables. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of relevant design experience, preferably in site development. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to function effectively in a team environment and focus on client satisfaction. + Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. + E.I.T. certification. + Working knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to site development projects in California. + Proficiency in typical civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD, etc.). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with land development, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and civil design + Site design expertise Work Environment This role offers flexible work hours with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after 90 days. The new office is in a great location with open windows and a spectacular view. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Roseville, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
