Senior Director, Operations Weu2019re seeking a seasoned leader within the life sciences industry to be the Senior Director of Operations at a leading biotech company in South San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities + Lead and optimize all operations to ensure efficiency, quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. + Build capabilities and allocate resources to support company growth and strategic goals. + Align operational activities with business needs through close partnership with Commercial and Finance. + Support product scale-up and improvement initiatives across teams. + Lead a high-performing team with clear accountability and disciplined budget management. + Provide transparent reporting to leadership on operational performance and risks. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in biology or related discipline and 5+ years as head of operations, 10+ years of operations experience in biotech, life sciences, or a regulated manufacturing environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience. + Expert in managing operations across multiple functional teams with the ability to drive results in a fast-moving company. + Knowledgeable of quality systems and compliance requirements. + Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively across functions. Preferred Qualifications + Experience leading operations within smaller companies and rolling out new products.
