RF Test EngineerLiverpool, NYSecret Clearance preferred but ability to obtain is acceptableJob Summary This role provides test and technical support to ensure customers receive high-quality, functional RF Communications and Radar products. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, guiding union workforce in proactive and reactive situations, and driving continuous improvement in test methods and products. The position requires systematic problem-solving skills and the ability to train test technicians. A U.S. government security clearance is required; candidates must be U.S. citizens. Job Responsibilities Provide test and technical support for RF Communications and Radar products to ensure quality and functionality. Troubleshoot and guide represented workforce in both proactive and reactive scenarios. Develop and update test procedures based on requirements. Resolve technical issues with Special Test Equipment (STE) and Unit Under Test (UUT). Generate test-ready documentation for production use. Drive continuous improvement in test methods and product performance. Investigate issues to determine root cause and implement corrective actions. Train test technicians on procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Apply systematic problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.Job Requirements U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum 2 years of experience with RF Communications, Radar, or Sonar systems (military or commercial experience may be considered).Desired Skills Electrical test measurement and troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of digital and analog electronics. Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. Technical writing skills for procedures and documentation. Familiarity with Configuration Management (CM) practices. Basic networking knowledge. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Fiber optics experience. Component-level troubleshooting expertise.Additional Job Details Standard schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (9 hours), Friday, 7:00 AM-11:00 AM (4 hours).
