Description Our client a regional law firm is currently seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with 2u20135 years of experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in handling commercial real estate transactions. The role will involve working closely with attorneys to support various aspects of real estate practice, including acquisitions, leasing, financing, and closings. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys in managing commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. u2022 Prepare and review loan documents, such as promissory notes, mortgages, and closing checklists. u2022 Analyze and summarize title commitments, policies, and endorsements to ensure accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with surveyors to review property surveys and resolve title or survey issues. u2022 Coordinate with title companies, lenders, borrowers, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth transaction closings. u2022 Draft and organize closing binders, ensuring proper execution and recording of legal documents. u2022 Conduct due diligence tasks, including reviewing entity formation documents, zoning regulations, and lien searches. u2022 Maintain organized transaction files while managing multiple deals simultaneously. u2022 Provide timely updates and communication to attorneys and clients throughout the transaction process. Requirements u2022 2u20135 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal. u2022 Proficiency in handling loan documentation and commercial financing transactions. u2022 Strong knowledge of title commitments, surveys, and related resolution processes. u2022 Familiarity with closing procedures and real estate due diligence. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with real estate or document management software is advantageous. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
