Senior Staff Accountant

They are seeking a motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join their Finance team in Conshohocken, PA. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and plays a key part in the monthly general ledger close process. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical professional who can work independently while collaborating across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.nnResponsibilities:n Participate in the monthly general ledger close process, including preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining supporting documentationn Prepare balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and analyses, including areas such as cash, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilitiesn Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepanciesn Conduct monthly variance and trend analysis on expenses and other financial resultsn Support internal and external audit activities, including requests related to quarterly and annual audits and SOX compliancen Assist with the preparation and review of external financial filings and reporting requirements, as applicablen Support procurement and purchasing processes, including reconciliation of purchase card activity and related reportingn Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems, reporting processes, and internal controlsn Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff when neededn Assist with ad hoc financial reporting, analysis, and special projects
