Accounts Payable Clerk

Description The Accounts Payable Coordinator works within the Accounting Department and contributes to the management and profitability of the company resources through the verification, reconciling, analyzing, and processing of payables. The A/P Coordinator works closely with the Supervisor and Controller. Essential Functions: u2022 Ensure correct invoicing through verification of receipts u2022 Accurate & timely posting of payables u2022 Scan invoices into electronic filing database daily u2022 Receiving of invoices through Purchase Order and Accounts Payable u2022 Maintain paper & electronic records u2022 Vendor set up and maintenance u2022 Prepare weekly reports as needed u2022 Filing and document management Essential Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred. u2022 2 -3 years of experience in Accounts Payable. u2022 Knowledge of basic accounting. u2022 Proficiency and ability to utilize SAGE (MAS100). u2022 Self-starter and self-motivated. u2022 Time-management, prioritization and organizational skills. u2022 Must have a High level of accuracy/attention to detail. u2022 Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Windows applications. u2022 Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u2022 Good written and communications skills. u2022 Team working oriented.
