Job Title: Superintendent/On-Site Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join a dynamic team in the construction industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a well-established company that has been operating since 1952. The position provides full compensation for lodging, per diem expenses, and a company vehicle for travel. Responsibilities + Plan, communicate, and manage project activities effectively. + Attend meetings with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. + Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of the field labor force. + Review and become familiar with the project budget and general conditions estimate. + Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications alongside the Project Manager. + Develop and maintain a site logistics plan in coordination with the Project Manager, clients, and contractors. + Conduct quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards. + Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. + Communicate and enforce the Safety and Health Management Program. + Manage schedules, including the preparation of look-ahead schedules, and ensure all activities occur on or ahead of scheduled dates. + Prepare and submit Superintendentu2019s Daily Reports. + Participate in project meetings, including subcontractor and foremanu2019s meetings. + Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor. Essential Skills + 6-10 years of ground-up new construction experience in industrial, commercial, or warehouse projects. + Proficiency in managing RFI's, submittals, and change orders. + Experience with Procore software and utilities construction. + Knowledge of steel, interior, carpentry, steel erection, and MEP construction. + Bachelor's degree in construction management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ground-up construction experience is preferred. + MEP construction coordinating experience is advantageous. Work Environment This role is fully on-site, five days a week, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The company is a third-generation family business, operating with a small team of 10, aiming to expand. The work environment is stable, with projects lined up until 2026, offering a tremendous growth opportunity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $64.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
