Sr. Product Manager, Proofpoint Threat Protection Group We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our Threat Protection products. This role will focus on defining product strategy, delivering customer-centric solutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to address evolving security threats. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cybersecurity domains and a track record of shipping successful products. Key Responsibilities + Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and vision for cybersecurity solutions + Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements through research, feedback, and data analysis + Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products + Translate complex cybersecurity needs into clear product requirements and user stories + Drive product lifecycle from ideation through launch and continuous improvement + Monitor industry trends, threat landscape, and competitive offerings to inform product direction + Work closely with customers and stakeholders tovalidatesolutions and ensure product-market fit + Define and track key product metrics (adoption, retention, performance, security outcomes) + Support go-to-market strategies, including positioning, pricing, and messaging Required Qualifications + 3u20135 years of product management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or related domains + Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threat detection,SOC operations,identity & access management, cloud security) + Proven ability to deliver products in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment + Experience working with engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills + Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred Qualifications + Experience withEmailsecurity products or enterprise security platforms + Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK) + Technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science, or security certifications like CISSP, CEH) Why Proofpoint?
