Position Summary Western, Florida Medicare Advantage Plan, Broker Managers are accountable for driving and achieving company defined distribution channel sales goals and objectives in their FL submarkets (Pinellas, Hernando & Citrus County). They are responsible for recruiting, training and engaging Agent/Brokers in delivering the highest margin and most competitive HMO, CSNP, DSNP, PPO & HMO-POS business in the country. Broker Managers are required to build and enhance strong Agency relationships with all contracting levels to successfully deliver very aggressive sales goals in the fall for 2026 & 2027 (AEP) Annual Enrollment Period. In Florida, Broker Managers deliver 60% of all MA sales thru their External Broker sales channels and are vital to achieving Floridau2019s overall sales goals. In, Western FL., Broker Managers ((Pinellas, Hernando & Citrus County) are expected to deliver an Annual sales quota between, 3,000-4,000 sales through relationship building, agent recruitment and trainings. Fundamental Components/Job Description : Responsible for meeting established health plan broker sales goal through management of assigned block of agents. u2022 Prospects for and recruits new agents through collaboration with National and Direct agency relationships or through agent marketing activities targeted direct to the agents. Assures appropriate market coverage through management of agent recruiting activities. Responsible for identifying and developing local preferred agents to support the attainment of health plan goals. u2022 Responsible for onboarding new agents by supporting their navigation of contracting, certification, and training requirement. Provides leadership for all broker training, recertification, and testing through face-to-face, individual, and group meetings and web-based resources. Administers broker testing and recertification. u2022 Proactively develops agent activation. Strategy should utilize the deployment of various tactics such as face-to-face, telephonic, and written communication methods and information management. u2022 Responsible for ongoing individual agent management. Responsibilities include the establishment of production goals and compliance thresholds, along with the communication and ongoing enforcement of these established expectations with each assigned agent. Key role is to prioritize broker relationships according to their ability to meet or exceed expectations. Makes recommendations to management on agents plan preferred designation and contract level status. u2022 Responsible for ensuring agent adherence to all CMS and Aetna guidelines. Monitors compliance with state, federal, and health plan regulatory requirements. Maintains all files associated with broker contracting, including broker agreements. Reports all implementations and corrections to health plan management. Coordinates response to broker-related complaints. Investigates documents and retrains brokers as necessary. Recommends termination of broker relationship with company as appropriate. u2022 Coordinates with the appropriate customer service and health plan resources to support broker activities. u2022 Verifies and validates broker commission payments. Ensures broker commission payments are submitted for payment. Resolves issues and inquiries related to commissions from health plan and brokers. Required Qualifications u2022 Must live in the Western, Tampa Florida Sub-markets (Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando, Citrus County Regions) u2022 Appropriate FL State licensure to sell insurance as required, subject to products sold. u2022 Medicare Advantage Plan, Sales Management experience is required. u2022 Minimum 5 years sales and/or broker sales experience required. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior history of Medicare Advantage Plan and Part D Plans (MAPD) Agent/Broker Sales and/or Sales Management background. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus. Practical knowledge with MS Office Applications: MS u2018Outlooku2019 MS u2018Excelu2019 MS u2018Wordu2019 MS u2018PowerPointu2019 Management Think Agent, Sunfire, etc. (Electronic Enrollment & Sales Office Experience in selling Florida Medicare Supplemental & u2018Ancillaryu2019 Portfolio Products. Defined as: Dental Insurance Plan (Florida) Cancer and Heart Attack (CHAS) Hospital Indemnity Flex Home Care Plus Recovery Care Final Expense - Whole Life Options Education u2022 Associateu2019s degree or equivalent work experience u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree preferred. u2022 Appropriate state licensure to sell insurance as required, subject to product sold. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $60,400.00 - $126,582.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
