Medications you will infuse include: + Immunoglobulin Therapy + IV Antibiotics + Anti-inflammatory Biologics + Inotropes + Specialty medications Monday - Friday - 8:30am to 5pm (up to 3 days per week available) 7307 S. Responsibilities + Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations + Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association + Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patientsu2019 therapies + Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care + Educates patients and caregivers + Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patientsu2019 needs + Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEu2022 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.u2022 Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.u2022 Previous infusion experience preferred.u2022 Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSu2022 Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.u2022 Current CPR certification. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESu2022 Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.u2022 Effective verbal and written communication skills. To perform this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), crouching and stooping.
