Merchandiser I - Frankfort, IN ADM Processing This is a full time, exempt position Position Summary: This is an intermediate merchandising position which is part of the commercial processing team in Frankfort, IN. This role’s primary focus will be for Frankfort’s crush merchandising activities: truck meal trading, rail fleet logistics for both inbound beans and outbound meal, bean/meal spread risk management, etc. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers as well as colleagues from other ADM Processing Plants, the handling of logistics, risk management, accounting, execution and other customer related issues. As an intermediate member of the merchandising team, you are required to have a higher level of critical thinking, market knowledge and employee development than an entry-level position. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Ability to excel within high-risk fast-paced work environment. Assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions. Negotiation and social skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal & external customers. Computer proficient, with demonstrated ability in the use of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software. Applications within a windows based operating environment.
