Job Title: MIG Welder Job Description We are actively hiring for a 1st Shift MIG Welder to join our team. Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, with occasional work on stainless steel and aluminum. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of products. + Operate machines such as plasma cutters and mag drills. + Use grinders and other tools for sheet metal fabrication. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of MIG welding experience. + Proficiency in welding carbon steel, with some experience in stainless steel and aluminum. + Blueprint reading experience. + Ability to operate plasma cutters and mag drills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with grinding and sheet metal fabrication. + Proficiency in using a tape measure. Why Work Here? Benefit from weekly pay. Work Environment The work is conducted in a non-climate-controlled shop, which may become cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks. There is potential for additional hours on Fridays, ranging from 5 to 10 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
