We’re seeking a senior-level IT Network Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network solutions in a global environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, and network automation (IaC). **Type:** Contract **Job Title:** IT Network Engineer III **Location:** Hybrid (preferred) 1 day/week onsite - preferable to candidates within 1 hour of Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY. **Pay Rate:** Based on experience **Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (minimum requirement) **Travel Requirement:** Potential travel of up to 30%, which may include international destinations. During critical projects may be higher. 25% domestic / less than 5% international, if not 0 **Key Responsibilities:** • Design and deploy scalable network architectures across enterprise environments • Configure and optimize **BGP, OSPF** , and advanced switching technologies • Lead wireless network design and performance (MIST preferred) • Build automation solutions using **Ansible, Terraform, Python, and APIs** • Collaborate cross-functionally to align network strategy with business goals • Support ongoing operations, troubleshooting, and on-call rotation **Required Skills:** • 8+ years of network engineering experience • Strong expertise with **Cisco and/or Arista** platforms • Deep knowledge of **LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)** • Experience with **network automation and Infrastructure as Code** • Solid troubleshooting and performance optimization skills **Nice to Have:** • MIST wireless experience • Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Manufacturing or OT environment experience • Certifications: **CCNP, Arista ACE, or equivalent** **Preferred / Desired Skills** • Hands-on experience with MIST wireless solutions, including design, deployment, and optimization • Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments • Strong background with Arista in data center and campus networks • Financial acumen for budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor management • Experience in manufacturing or OT environments preferred **Additional Information** • No third party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment-qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws. • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company **To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to** **** **.** **About CTG** CTG, a Cegeka company, delivers IT and business solutions that enhance clients’ digital agility, empowering them to seize new opportunities and overcome any challenge.
