Description We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic Insurance Coverage team in San Francisco, California. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex insurance coverage matters, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution, while collaborating in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide legal counsel to insurers on coverage issues, litigation strategies, and alternative dispute resolution processes. u2022 Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, to support case development and resolution. u2022 Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations to advocate for favorable outcomes. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations and precedents. u2022 Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and share insights for effective resolution. u2022 Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. u2022 Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. u2022 Stay informed about changes in insurance laws and policies to provide up-to-date counsel. u2022 Participate in remote or hybrid work settings, leveraging technology to maintain productivity. u2022 Ensure adherence to ethical standards in all legal practices. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. u2022 Admission to practice law in California or other relevant states. u2022 At least 2 years of experience in insurance coverage or defense litigation. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines. u2022 Expertise in legal research and analysis, with attention to detail. u2022 Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods. u2022 Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and a focus on detail.
