Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government services company, is seeking an onsite Help Desk Macintosh/Windows support technician to support TGS and our government customer. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: + Report onsite 5 days a week. + Deployment of Macintosh computers (desktop and laptop models). This includes complete erasure, macOS installation, configuration, MDM enrollment, etc. + Troubleshooting/resolving wired and wireless network connectivity issues. + Deploying/troubleshooting peripheral devices such as printers. + Troubleshooting macOS and COTS software issues. + Assisting Macintosh users with software and hardware use and issues. + Assisting in testing, analyzing, and resolving issues related to Windows operating systems. + Reporting, record-keeping, and other communications regarding inventory, support issues, and technical issues. This includes enterprise ServiceNow ITSM system. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Experience supporting Macintosh desktop and laptop computer models. + Experience supporting Ethernet and wireless networked Macintosh computers in a professional environment and troubleshooting/resolving network connectivity issues. + Experience supporting macOS, including macOS installation, configuration, encryption, and troubleshooting. + Experience supporting standard Macintosh software applications such as MS Office/O365, MS Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. + Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written formats. + Ability to work as a member of a coordinated team providing consistent guidance, support, and services to IT customers. + Familiarity with supporting Windows operating systems and the standard operating environment, which includes, but is not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and antivirus/encryption software. + Ability to install approved hardware and peripherals compatible with Windows PCs workstations on network (i.e. Monitor/Display configurations, network connectivity, access to intranet resources, etc.) Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
