Posting Details Classification Information Position/Classification Title Business Manager Position required to work during periods of adverse weather or other emergencies No Minimum Education/Experience Bacheloru2019s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related business area and three years of professional accounting experience, of which at least one is supervisory; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organization, and a customeru2011serviceu2013oriented approach. Brings preferred experience in highu2011level grants management and training including strategic oversight of the entire grant lifecycle. Department Hiring Range $60 - $70 Position Overview Primary Purpose of Position This candidate will provide comprehensive grants consulting and training to Sponsored Research staff. In this role, the consultant will collaborate closely with team members across preu2011award and postu2011award functions to strengthen institutional capacity and improve overall grants management effectiveness. Primary Function of Organizational Unit Assists faculty, staff, and administrators in applying for extramural funding and provides support in managing awarded funds throughout the award lifecycle.
