We ensure a work environment in which each employee's chosen path is respected, rewarded, and celebrated.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of ageBachelor's or Master's degree in Elementary Education or related field required and 5+ years of teaching elementary school strongly preferredValid WA state teaching certificate requiredMeet federal, as well as individual state requirements and maintain credentials for the positionDemonstrated knowledge of all elements of our curriculum and implementation of lesson plansPhysical Requirements:This leadership role requires work in person in an elementary school to providetraining,oversee the curriculum and instruction, and customer and client services per Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure safety of children in Chestnut Hill Academy's care and the employee.This role has a mixture of duties including office/computer/phone-based work, in-person supervision of care delivery and employees throughout all areas of the school, family/prospective family interactions which may take place in various areas of the school, and the ability to temporarily subfor brief periods of time on an as-needed basis (e.g.,subbing for a classroom teacher)The full set of physical requirements for this role can be reviewed atBright Horizons complies with all laws that require reasonable accommodations for qualifying disabilities and/or pregnancy-related pensation:The annual starting salary for this position is between$68,000 - $125,000 per year. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
