Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in financial analysis and reporting to support business operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret data, resolve issues, and provide valuable insights to improve analytics solutions. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics and reporting deliverables to meet customer needs. u2022 Serve as a subject matter expert on customer data, metrics, and reports to provide actionable insights. u2022 Address and resolve issues related to deployed analytics solutions in a timely manner. u2022 Conduct financial modeling and variance analysis to support business objectives. u2022 Provide training and expert support for customer self-service tools and analytics platforms. u2022 Perform ad hoc financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making. u2022 Utilize data mining techniques to identify trends and opportunities within financial data. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance in reporting. u2022 Leverage Microsoft SQL Server to manage and analyze large datasets effectively. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in financial modeling and variance analysis techniques. u2022 Strong skills in ad hoc financial analysis and data interpretation. u2022 Experience with data mining methodologies to uncover insights within complex datasets. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for data management and analysis. u2022 Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset. u2022 Effective communication skills to present findings and train users. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
