Qualified applicants must have at minimum a bacheloru2019s degree in a science-based discipline such as chemistry, biology, or a related area. Instructional duties will be focused on teaching multiple sections of Intro to General Chemistry Laboratory each semester. Additional duties will include preparation and setup of other introductory chemistry laboratory courses, preparation and setup of microbiology laboratory courses offered by the department, and other lab preparatory duties as needs dictate. This position offers no pathway for advancement, and preference will be given to applicants that commit to pursuing an advanced degree at another institution after two years of employment. The position also includes an expectation to participate in the research program of a faculty member within the College during the period of employment.
