Main responsibilities: + Perform experiments and studies in support of rare disease research projects and company drug discovery goals. + Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments in both in vivo and in vitro settings. + Support the development of new methodologies and approaches as needed. + Develop and maintain cell culture systems, including iPSC-derived cultures, to model rare diseases and enable drug screening and mechanism of action studies. + Conduct animal studies using various injections routes (IV, SC, IP), necropsies, and downstream tissue processing. + Perform cell culture techniques, qPCR, ELISA, and plate-based assays (MSD/SIMOA). + Analyze, interpret, and present experimental results to team members and project stakeholders. + Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records following scientific rigor standards. + Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment. About You: + Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field plus minimum 4 years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR Master's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field plus minimum 1 year of relevant research experience. + Strong in vivo technical expertise including animal handling, various routes of administration (IV, SC, IP) and necropsy. + Experience with various in vitro methods (i.e. qPCR, ELISA, and plate-based assays (MSD/SIMOA)). + Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and good laboratory practices.
