Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead the early stages of complex commercial and industrial builds with precision and vision.Support Business Development in proposal presentations, interviews etc, and support Sales/Marketing in building General Contractor and Architect/Engineer relationships Responsible for the preparation of preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates and studies during preconstruction Initiate and maintain contact with General Contractors and Architect and Engineering firmsParticipates in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews Identify new work opportunities Monitor cost trends Evaluate and analyzing subcontractor proposals Participation in the preparation of construction schedule for estimating purposes Responsible for discussing staffing requirements with operations in preparation of building a project team4 years of estimating experience in a Pre-Construction Manager roleMust have experience with large commercial and industrial projects (concept to close-out) Knowledge of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.Expert computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Excel)Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong employment stabilityExperience with Accubid and/or Conest Knowledge of Experience with AutoCAD and/or RevitHow we support you:At Cummings, we are motivated by achieving our goals and fostering a strong work ethic.
