Rebar and Post Tension Sales Representative

Suncoast Post-Tension Ltd, a Keller Company, is an established post tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight manufacturing facilities in the US. We are looking for an experienced Rebar and Post Tension Sales Representative to join our team in San Antonio, TX.This position requires the ability to build relationships, account maintenance and outbound sales. The individual for this position will be able to operate with a high level of autonomy with little close supervision on daily duties. Much of the work is locally based with little overnight travel. The perfect candidate will have experience in the construction industry, preferably with rebar sales experience. The expectation is a 25% ongoing account management with around 75% outbound sales.Overseeing billing, orders, pour dates, repairs, bids and coordinating deliveriesMaintain communication with existing customers to ensure we are meeting their needsAddress issues or concerns from current customersIdentify and contact potential new customers utilizing, building permits, industry contacts, cold call office visits, sales meetingsEstimate jobs for existing and new sales customersAssist AR with collections; obtain PO’s, pickup checks, contact customers for payment statusAssist Logistics to help with Hot Shot deliveries as neededOther duties as assignedEducationHigh school diploma required; 2-year Associates Degree preferredRequired BackgroundPrior commercial rebar sales is preferredRebar and Concrete construction knowledge is preferredMust be able to read blueprints for commercial projectsExperience in relationship building, account maintenance and outbound salesAbility to recognize new business opportunitiesExperience with Microsoft office suite of products is required (excel, word primarily)Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesAbility to meet fast paced and dynamic schedules and deadlinesMust be well organized, self-motivated, & reliableMust possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skillsExcellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessarySalary Range: $80,000+ DOEActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by lawBenefits:401(k) + matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday PaySuncoast Post-Tensionis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
