The Talent Acquisition Partner runs a full-cycle recruitment desk, supporting the goals of the Talent Acquisition department by maintaining a high volume of candidate interaction, screening, and scheduling. As a first line candidate sourcer and screener, the individual in this role will provide creative solutions to staffing shortages and apply industry knowledge to our high-volume recruitment process.For more on the Y Employee Perks, click on this link: Employee Benefits | YMCA of San Diego County (ymcasd.org)SCHEDULE:This position is Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM, with a 30-minute lunch breakFull-time temporary position, contract ends 8/31/26WORK DESIGNATION:Remote (must work within San Diego County Region)High and heavy volume outbound communications to mostly warm leads (applicants)Lead full cycle recruitment for a group of high-volume, entry-level positions, from posting to selection and onboardingUse social media networks to look for and connect with potential candidatesInteract with professionals on niche platformsReview online resumes to pre-screen candidatesTrack candidate data on a daily basis within applicant tracking system, make suggestions to improve tracking methodsUnderstand and capitalize on various sourcing strategies for high turnover, part time positionsResearch and make suggestions for new avenues of sourcing for hard to fill, high volume rolesCommunicate regularly with candidates and hiring managersMaintain an excellent candidate experience with responsiveness and follow throughAsk for referrals from internal and external networksContact past applicants for new job opportunitiesProactively source potential hires for recurring, high volume positionsProvide weekly metrics for data tracking purposesDevelop a strong pipeline of entry level candidates and nurture candidate relationships through effective communications and attraction strategiesOffer suggestions for high volume process improvement based on full cycle recruitment modelProactively anticipate hiring needs for multiple departments and branches, monitor hiring decisions and track onboarding numbersEngage community partners and build new relationships to further Talent Acquisition goalsBachelor’s degree required3+ years' of experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment, managing a full deskExperience suggesting and implementing creative sourcing strategies for high volume recruitingExperience working with metrics-driven results and comfortable being held accountable for high level recruitment metricsExperience developing and fostering a strong candidate pipeline5+ years' of sales or customer service experienceHands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), iCIMS preferredHighly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to achieve goalsStrong attention to detail with minimal errors in data entryFamiliarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databasesExcellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to handle various requisitions simultaneouslyStrong collaborator and team playerAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for timely completionPassionate about creating great experiences for our candidates and hiring managersOutside the box thinker with knowledge of unique strategies for high volume recruitment, attracting and retaining entry level candidatesPRE-HIRE CONTINGENCIES:Licensing, state law and our funders require that applicants be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, within 30 days of hire, and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute YMCA will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
