Underground Plumbing Helper

J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical is looking for a motivated Underground Plumbing Helper to support our underground plumbing team. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn from experienced professionals. Pay: $42,000 - $78,000 annually (hourly + commission)Location: West Mifflin, PA (servicing the Pittsburgh metro area)Take‑Home Perks:Tools Provided401(k) with 4% MatchMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePTO & HolidaysWhat You’ll Be Doing:Assist with Installations & Repairs: Support lead technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground residential plumbing systems, including water and sewer lines.Job Site Support: Help with digging, trenching, material handling, tool setup, and cleanup to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently.Learning the Trade: Gain hands-on experience working with underground plumbing systems, tools, and materials while learning proper techniques and code requirements.Team Collaboration: Work closely with lead technicians and other team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous presence when on customer job sites.What You’ll Bring:Interest in plumbing or prior construction/trade experience preferredWillingness to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learnAbility to follow directions and safety proceduresValid driver’s license and clean driving recordFamiliarity with tools or basic mechanical skills is a plus (but not required)If you’re dependable, motivated, and ready to learn a skilled trade, apply today to join Arco Home Services.
