Configuration Data Manager

The Configuration Data Manager is responsible for process management and performing oversight functions to ensure configuration management of articles inducted into the manufacturing and MRO processes are maintained IAW customer requirements and technical data package(s).Responsible for configuration management planningDescribes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration auditsResponsible for configuration planning. Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentationResponsible for configuration change controlRegulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into documentsResponsible for configuration status accountingTracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configurationResponsible for configuration auditsSupports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been metAssigns tasks and prioritizes activities within the department to ensure deadlines are met.Performs other duties as assignedEducation:Bachelor’s Degree of Arts or Science RequiredDegree in a Technical Field preferredExperience:Five years of experience required; eight years preferredAny combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO and CEO.
