Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Client Leadership and InterfaceMeets regularly with client/client representatives to provide updates on project status and to manage emerging project issuesManages scope closely with clients/client representatives and communicates scope changes and presents appropriate solutions and associated resource impactsWorks with clients to understand existing standards and process, develops and revise standards and policies as needed.Assists clients with the development of documentation and procurement of products and services outside of the standard programsProject LeadershipDefines project deliverables and deadlines for the wd team (PM, Planner, PC) based on project requirements and client needsManages project dependencies to ensure coordination and on time deliveryExpertise and QCReviews design and product specification to ensure customer guidelines, programming, and design language are appliedReview products for guidelines performance: appropriate approvals, sit tests, quality, durability, user experience, and safetyMaintains the Project Action Log to ensure clear documentation of quickly changing detailsRegular reviews with internal and external project team member to ensure all parties are up to date on revisions and changesEnsures all quality control practices are implemented per process: plan to spec, specification review, appropriate double checks, greenstamp, etc. to ensure accuracy of ordering per specificationMaintains all critical project documentation for quality control: PAL (Project Action Log), spec version control, standard count, floor plans, installation informationEngages in early design reviews to ensure specifications being proposed fit project requirementsConsult on matters where specifications may conflict with multiple interests and facilitate the project team and client towards an agreed upon solutionReviews design and product specification to ensure customer guidelines, programming, and design language are appliedReview products for guidelines performance: appropriate approvals, sit tests, quality, durability, user experience, and safetyMaintains the Project Action Log to ensure clear documentation of quickly changing detailsRegular reviews with internal and external project team member to ensure all parties are up to date on revisions and changesEnsure quality control practices are implemented per process: plan to spec, specification review, appropriate double checks, greenstamp, etc. to ensure accuracy of ordering per specificationMaintains all critical project documentation for quality control: PAL (Project Action Log), spec version control, standard count, floor plans, installation informationEngages in early design reviews to ensure specifications being proposed fit project requirementsConsult on matters where specifications may conflict with multiple interests and facilitate the project team and client towards an agreed upon solutionStakeholdersProgram Manager, Planners, Clients and Client Representatives, internal and external team members.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesB.A. Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architectural Studies or relevant degree which allows individual to perform job duties. 7-10 years Project Management experience in design field. Or combination of relevant degree and experience to meet essential duties.Solid Understanding of PMPDemonstrated ability and knowledge in design specification developmentDirect experience leading project communication of scope & risks, to external partners and/or clientComputer SkillsHigh degree of proficiency with Outlook with emphasis in Word and Excel.Demonstrated ability in MS Project or similar project management software
